Kate is an industry-leading VP, with 15+ years of strategic PR experience across experiential, social and digital. Kate balances her tenacity with distinctly collaborative approach to execute award winning programs for beloved brands the likes of Nike and LEGO, dozens of Stoli Vodka influencer parties, American Express private events, and the 2015 PanAm Games. As a champion for female empowerment, her now 40-person team’s campaigns have been on every major morning TV show and radio — and has even gotten the coveted spot in late night talk show coverage! Her prowess as a marathon runner is mirrored in her positive working relationships within a network of editors and producers; and you can always count on Kate to think through the first interaction consumers have with a brand all the way through the journey.
An avid volunteer, Kate sits on the Special Olympics Toronto Council while also spending her Mondays + Wednesday evenings as the Head Coach of the Special Olympics ski team – Toronto Speed Demons. But her true passion comes through in her mentorship, a champion for female empowerment, Kate recently co-founded two women in business initiatives at dentsu – Female Foundry a mentorship, co-creation and support program for Canadian female entrepreneurs and Womxn Who an acclaimed podcast where Kate & her co-host Simren have conversations with womxn who challenge the status quo, womxn who ask for what they want. And womxn who hold the door open for other womxn. Kate also has a pretty hilarious dog named Douglas that keeps her on her toes and busy with his budding modeling career – yes you could call her a dog pageant mother.
