A coffee chat with Kallee Lins, Publisher of The Dance Current.

Kallee Lins's Bio

Kallee Lins is the publisher of The Dance Current. She moved to Toronto in 2012 to meld her love of the performing arts, research, and writing. After completing an MA in Theatre and Performance Studies at York University and spending several years in the PhD in Dance Studies program, she worked as the Marketing and Communications Manager for the Dancer Transition Resource Centre. Later, she worked as the Manager, Membership and Community, at Imagine Canada – an advocacy and capacity building organization for the charitable sector. Throughout her work in the cultural sector, she developed a passion for systems-level change and arts policy. Outside of her work at The Dance Current, she is the chair of Dance Umbrella of Ontario, a board member for Dusk Dances, and volunteers for the policy and research network Mass Culture.
